BOOK REVIEW WITH GOD SPEAKING

Today's post is about something I have experienced first hand during my single days.  Single life is REALLY tough sometimes, as all of life is.  But I am so glad that we have a God that walks with us, is involved.  Even when we don't understand what is going on in life, HE IS INVOLVED!

PART II:  "What's a Girl To Do While Waiting for Mr. Right?"  By Janet L. Folger

TODAY'S NOTEWORTHY HIGHLIGHTS:  "You can never be happy putting a guy {or gal} in the place of God---because they are human and will always let you down. God has to be the one you run to--because ultimately He's the only one who can satisfy your needs, rescue you from trouble, give you a true sense of self-worth, and enable you to live out all the things He has planned for you. No matter how good a guy (or gal) may be, they cannot provide what God can. When you've let your boyfriend/girlfriend take the place of God, you've not only cheated the God who made you, you've cheated yourself as well." 

BOOK REVIEW

PART I:  "What's a Girl to Do While Waiting for Mr. Right?"  By:  Janet L. Folger

First, this book is written for women, but virtually ALL of its content are of benefit to men as well.  This particular book review will probably be an ongoing discussion for me. But I am currently reading some books on singleness, and maybe sharing some of my thoughts and inspiring quotes/reviews will help some. I do know that I have to stay busy in the work of God, that's what I am going to do while waiting. 

NOTEWORTHY HIGHLIGHTS:  "You are alone now...like me....because God has something He wants you to do. Something so critically important to His mission that Satan has to come up with a way to stop it. Make no mistake: Satan will pull out every stop to prevent what he knows you could do for the kingdom of God. I'm talking about the big guns here---the rocket launchers designed to debilitate even the most faithful soldiers in God's army:
